Flood Warning

  (Issued at 13:00 hr M.S.T on 25-7-2016)

According to the (12:30) hrs M.S.T observation today, the water levels of Ayewarwaddy River at Bhamo, Mandalay and Sagaing are observed as about (1½) feet each  at Bhamo,  Mandalay and Sagaing below their respective dangerlevels . The water levels may reach their respective danger levels during the next (1) day at Bhamo and next (3) days at Mandalay and Sagaing.

According to the (12:30) hr M.S.T observation today, the water level of Dokhtawady River has reach at Myitnge is observed as about (2) feet  below its danger level. It may reach its danger level during the next (3) days.

It is especially advised to the people who settle near the river bank and low lying areas in Bhamo, Mandalay,Sagaing and Myitnge Townships, to take precaution measure.
