SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the

past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Taninthayi Region

and Kayin State, isolated in Upper Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kachin and

Shan States, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing and Bago Regions

and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were

(5°C) above April average temperatures in Southern Shan, (3°C) to (4°C) above

April average temperatures in Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi

Regions, Northern Shan and Rakhine States and about April average temperatures

in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (43°C)

each in Naypyitaw (Tatkon), Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan, Taungdwingyi and

Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Myeik (0.71) inch,

Minesat (0.16)inch and Putao and Myawady (0.12) inch each.

BAY INFERENCE:  Weather is generally fair in the East Central Bay of Bengal and

partly cloudy  in the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 10th April, 2015: Rain or

thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Kachin state, isolated in Sagaing,

Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Chin,  Kayin and Mon States , partly cloudy

in  Bago and Yangon Regions and weather will be generally fair in  the remaining

Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (60%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Continuation of likelihood of isolated

rain or thundershowers in the Northern Myanmar areas.
