SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been fairly widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Upper Sagaing Region, isolated in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Shan and Chin States and weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (4°C) below April average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and about April average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (42°C) each in Mandalay, Chauk, Minbu, Magway, Aunglan and Bawlakhae. The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded were Machanbaw (0.35) inch, Putao (0.28) inch and Falam (0.20) inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 6th April, 2015: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Shan, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (60%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Seas will be moderate in Myanmar waters.
