Low Pressure Area Condition

According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the well marked low pressure area over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northeastwards and reached Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Central Bay of Bengal and weaken into a low pressure area. It is likely continue to move Northeastwards during next 24 hours and weaken gradually.

Due to the Low Pressure Area, rain or thundershowers will be isolated to scattered in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States and fairly widespread in Kayah, (Southern and Eastern)Shan States from today’s noon to 26-2-2026.
