Low Pressure Area Condition

Issued at 16:00 hours M.S.T on 19-2-2026

According to the observations at 15:30 hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure over the Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal still persists. It is likely to move West–Northwestwards towards Sri Lanka during next 24 hours and weaken gradually.
